How it plays

  1. Write the wire

Each expedition has a word budget. Every word you send costs one, except STOP.

  2. Hear it read back

Before night falls, the explorer repeats your order in their own words. On most difficulties you can pull a wrong wire back before it goes out.

  3. Watch the map fill in

When the report comes in, the ink draws back where they walked. Everything else stays dark.

The crew

Nineteen explorers across five eras. Each one reads your orders their own way, and remembers how you treated them.
